trendsfitness.blogspot.com - Out of the dishes listed out under Combo dishes, I felt this combo was surely something many would select and of course something I have already blogged about in different versions. However the rest of the dishes were not either possible, as there will be no takers or those I have already blogged about.
As I had said, this list is suggested by the BM members. Common combos were removed, and I was left with 100 plus dishes, out of which some I have already cooked. Anyway I select this list based on random numbers and then check the recipe name. It so happened that out of the list I picked up randomly, most were either cooked already partially, or not feasible! Well the reason why I am deliberating so much is that, I was struck with Fried Rice and Manchurian.

Check out the Blogging Marathon page for the other Blogging Marathoners doing BM# 46 The beauty with this combo dishes is that, it gives you flexibility to be as creative as you can. I have seen my fellow BM members using their creativity to the maximum. Can you imagine a Flax seed coconut chutney?..Well it's only possible for the versatile cook we have in house. Anyway twists like above mentioned happens and their creativity shines. I can hardly hold touch in front of them. So I settle to safe dishes and hope I can please my family with these.
I have already done a Chinese Fried Rice, Tricolour Fried rice, Egg Fried rice and a Chicken Fried rice. So you are hardly left out of options right. I then looked around and saw there are so many versions with non veg ingredients. So the least I could try is to play around with vegetables. I thought I will make this Yellow Fried Rice. Trust me the taste does feel different with each capsicum and the sweet corn gave a different texture as well.
We had a house guest over the weekend and not knowing how much to make, I ended up making too much. Plus I had a program on Sanskrit along with Peddu to attend. So it wasn't the best of time to complete a Combo Meal and rush out. Back home in the late evening, I saw the entire batch of rice not touched. I simply made it as Egg Fried rice, which surprisingly Chinnu also liked a lot. So next time I make the same mistake, I know how I am going to feed my kids!
I served this with Manchurian Balls, where I had another fiasco!
