My first son's birthday= such a special day when he was born.

Be aggressive … be, be …aggressive! Wait, I meant be organized.

To say that I like to be organized is a bit of an understatement. I’m an ENTJ … don’t know what that means? Well basically it stands for Extroverted , iNtuitive, Thinking and Judging … and is a personality profile of the Myers-Briggs system. You can read more about the ENTJ here.

I like to be organized in not only my work life but also my social life – and the easiest way for me to organize myself is using a dairy. I really like diaries as they also can be a way of recording thoughts and feelings – and I love picking up a diary and seeing my thoughts and thinking of years past.

I’ve kept my diaries from uni and I love those diaries as they were made by the student centre and had so many uni events recorded in them. When I last reviewed these diaries, it got me thinking about making a diary that contained more information than ‘Christmas Day’ and ‘Bank Holiday’.

It was at this same time that I was approached by Personal Planner to host a giveaway – and I sure was chuffed! It’s my first giveaway and it is something that I really love!

Personal Planning – My first giveaway

Personal Planners provide you with the opportunity to create a REALLY personalised planner that you can use throughout the year. Start by picking a diary size that suits your needs – do you like something small that you can constantly carry in your handbag or are you a planner that likes something larger that you can lie out on your desk? Whatever you need Personal Planners has 4 different sizes to select from. Then you can change colour, text and design on front/back cover as well as inlay.

Made some New Year’s resolutions? Here is a great way to keep them … add some clever to-do list boxes for healthy meals cooked at home, gym sessions, or books read. Recording and then actually having a place to mark your achievements will help you keep on track. You can also use these boxes for preschool, idea of the week and weather.

I’m thinking that it might be useful for me to prompt myself to make time for myself as I become a new mother – maybe I will create a weekly catch-up box … for catching up with friends who don’t have babies and talking about non-baby related topics (as I don’t want to lose myself in motherhood). Or maybe it could be a ‘time-out’ box for an hour a week of ME time – devoted to the gym, or getting a facial, or catching up with a girlfriend for coffee.

Are you one of those people who is constantly forgetting birthdays? Friends and family member’s birthdays can also be added to the inlay directly from Facebook – how cool is that?!

And then finally they will print and deliver the finished product directly to your doorstep.

Okay – so if you’re in the market for a personal planner (and don’t worry that it is the first day of February … you can pick the start date of your personal planner), then why not enter this competition. Entering is simple!

It will be a game of skill (to keep things legal) and your answer to this question will be judged on creativity and originality:

'Why are you unorganised and how will this diary make you more organised?' (I am quiet partial to poems)

...then head over to their facebook page and give them a big, fat 'LIKE'!
