trendsfitness.blogspot.com - Hey dolls! So, for those of you who don't know, November is National Picture Book Month! So, I'm going to tell you about my favorite picture book; {An Elephant & Piggie Book} There Is a Bird on Your Head! by Mo Willems.
As a child, I looked for books with humor, as many did. If it could make me laugh, it was definitely a keeper. I also liked books with cute pictures, or silly animal characters. When I came across this book, I fell in love. First of all, Mo Willems is an amazing author. I'm sure many of you have heard of his pigeon books, such as Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. Elephant & Piggie is it's own silly little series about an elephant and a pig who encounter silly situations together. The illustrations are very simple and cute, and the characters are funny and likable.
Here is a cute scene where you can see their contrasting personalities that make for a silly story. Piggie was my favorite, being a bit ignorant in a cute and silly way.
